Isaac Mensah-Newton serves as the National Director of GHAFES. He joined the GHAFES staff team in 2008 and has since played a number of key roles, including Acting National Director (September 2018-March, 2019), Chairman of the Interim Management Committee (August 2016-April 2017), National Programs Coordinator (2013-2018), Training Secretary-Accra – Zone (now South East Zone) (2009-2013). Isaac, while in the University of Cape Coast (UCC), was an active member of GHAFES-UCC and eventually served as its president for the 2006/2007 academic year. During the same period, Isaac served as Chairman of the Students’ National Executive Committee (SNEC) of GHAFES. In 2007, Isaac volunteered for a year to join the CAREFORCE – A United Kingdom Charity Organization (Registered Charity number 279443) and served as Youth Worker at the St. Michael & All Angels Church, Blackheath-South-East London. Isaac holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. Isaac is married to Vivian Mensah-Newton and they have three children – Awurabena, Maafia and Nana Yaw. Isaac worships at the Trinity United Church, Legon, where he serves as a member of the Church Council, President of the Young Adults Fellowship (Y.A.F) and Chairman of the Evangelism
