GEC STATEMENT OF FAITH
BASIS FOR COOPERATION
The following three-fold statement are the statement of faith of GEC and shall be the ‘Basis for Cooperation’:
a. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
b. We believe all the articles of the Apostles’ Creed.
c. We believe that a Christian is one who hears the good news that Jesus Christ died for sinners, and under the influence of the Holy Spirit turns from his old ways of life, believes in Jesus Christ, and receives him as Saviour and Lord: confesses Jesus Christ by being baptized and find ways of witnessing to his faith.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT
The membership of the Committee shall consist of churches and Christian organizations that subscribe to the Aims, Objectives, and Basis for Cooperation. Membership forms can be downloaded and submitted with your church/organization statement of faith.
