Apostle Bright Nyamedor

Apostle Bright Nyamedor is the National Director of Ghana Evangelism Commission (GEC), an interdenominational service agency established by all Churches in Ghana in 1974 to mobilise the Churches in Ghana for Evangelism, Discipleship and Mission Research. Currently the Commission has over 300 denominations as its members and all the Ecumenical bodies. Since its formation, the Commission has developed a clear commitment to see the Great Commission fulfilled in Ghana and beyond, through the mobilization of the Body of Christ and has since conducted two (2) National Church Surveys in 1989 and 1993. Also conducted the Unreached Peoples Group Survey (UPG) in Ghana in 2020.

Bright Nyamedor is an Apostle of the Church of Pentecost, an international Pentecostal Church headquartered in Ghana. The Church of Pentecost is the largest Pentecostal church in Ghana.

Apostle Bright Nyamedor was called into ministry in 2009 and has since served in Volta, Eastern and Western Regions in Ghana as District Minister.  He was Area Youth leader for Aflao Area (2011-2015) and Area Youth Pastor for Nkawkaw Area (2015-2021). He served as the Resident Minister for the Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC) Nkawkaw. (2015-2021). He was the District Pastor for University of Mines (UMaT) District from 2021-2023.

Bright serves as a member of Statistics and Archives Board of the Church of Pentecost.

He is also a National Leader for Lausanne Movement Ghana and serves as the Forum Director for the first Lausanne Workplace Forum (LWF) for Africa and the Middle East to be held in August 2026 at Accra, Ghana.

Apostle Bright Nyamedor holds Higher National Diploma (HND) in Statistics from Kumasi Technical University – Ghana and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Statistics from the University of Cape Coast – Ghana, Master of Arts (MA) in Pentecostal Studies from Pentecost University, Ghana.

He is married to Esther, and they are blessed with a twin, a boy, and a girl (Hasadiah and Hadassah), together they reside in Accra, Ghana.
